Vidya Plays Hostess for Shahid

Shahid Kapur may have broken up with Kareena Kapoor but the guy definitely does not have to look far for consolation and friendship. His co-star and now good friend Vidya Balan seems to have it upon herself to be the woman in his life.
A couple of nights ago, Shahid held a personal trial for his film Jab We Met. Not only was Vidya the surprise guest of the evening, she even played the unofficial hostess. So it should come as a minor shock if this couple too decides to go public with their news, just like Saif and Kareena did during the Lakme Fashion week. The trial was held at Yash Raj Studios and Shahid did not invite Kareena or any of their common friends to watch the trial. The audience at the trial consisted of producers and directors from the industry like Ramesh Taurani, Kumar Mangat, Ken Ghosh, Abbas-Mustan, Satish Kaushik, Ramesh Sippy, David Dhawan, Ravi Chopra and Raj Kumar Santoshi. Shahid's other favourite co-star Amrita Rao too was present on the occasion but Shahid's attention was all taken up by Vidya. Though both the stars came and left in their own cars, they are believed to have both headed towards Shahid's house. Earlier, last week, Kareena had kept a trial for her family and friends, where Saif had also been invited.
